Lalah enjoys time with Bird Char, which irritates Char, more so because she doesn’t believe the little bird could have possibly tried to kill Char.

That night, Bird Char sneaks into the kitchen to put poison on Char’s cup. However, Char catches him in the act.

Bird Char flees as Char gives pursuit, but an angry Lalah emerges, demanding they go to bed and refusing to hear anything negative about Bird Char.

Bird Char offers Char his mug, filled with a hot beverage. Char accepts and drinks, but it has been poisoned.

The type of rivalry element between Char and Bird Char is pretty old, following the standard cliches of Bird Char being seen as innocent, Char seeing the truth, and Lalah not being able to believe the truth. It is amusing, but I can’t say that this caused me to laugh. If anything, I was kind of disappointed that we had this continuation of the rivalry story. Considering that Bird Char (and Bird Sayla) are a big part of the ED card, I guess we’ll have more.

I was also disappointed that the famous quote from the original Mobile Suit Gundam was the one they used last week. I blame Bird Char for this. ^_~

So while I may have been disappointed, the episode was still entertaining.
